5 STAR LUXURY AND ALL THE COMFORTS OF HOME - My wife and I stayed at Heal House for a weekend in October, as seasoned travellers we were suitably impressed when we arrived at the beautifully restored residence. It would be easy to sound overstated in my review however the attention to detail, comfort and hospitality is deserving of this recognition. The sweeping verandah's, guest lounge, private dining area and lower terrace offers plenty of privacy and ambience to sit with your partner and relax. The beauty about the guest house is that it offers all the comforts of home and then some. The bedding is exquisite, the linen, Sheridan towels and amenities are proof of the thought and care that has gone into your personal comfort. Breakfast felt like high tea at the Peninsula Hong Kong, with our hosts sharing their fine china and silverware. Fresh fruit and yoghurts, croissants, bee hive honey soft cheeses and vine ripe tomatoes. I thoroughly recommend Heal House for couples or business travellers looking for accommodation that is more welcoming, personal and comfortable than the large 5-star chains . Walking distance to Brisbane's finest restaurants and bars, Heal House is ideally located for many occasions. Congratulations to our host's Lindsay and Bryce for filling a void in Brisbane's boutique five star luxury accommodation. We will be back!
